- 1 box of cake mix (traditionally classic yellow but any variety cake mix can be used)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Soften butter in a glass bowl in the microwave. Microwave for 30-45 seconds to soften the butter and make it easy to stir.
- Use a rubber spatula to stir in cake mix, eggs and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Add in chocolate chips.
- Use a medium cookie scoop to drop cookie dough on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cookies will be soft.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Allow them to finish cooling on a wire rack.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies, if using a medium cookie scoop.

Notes
