This homemade tollhouse pie recipe is a simple dessert recipe that is sure to become a family favorite. Tollhouse pie tastes just like a warm chocolate chip cookie…in pie form!

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 9-inch unbaked pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  3. Beat in flour and sugars until well blended. Beat in softened butter.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the top is lightly browned. Place a cookie sheet under the pie in case the butter leaks.
  6. Depending on the size of your pie pan, you may have extra filling. If you reach the top of your pie crust with extra filling, simply pour it into an oven safe bowl / mug and bake for a mini treat.
  7. Serve while warm, if possible. If freezing, let cool before wrapping securely in foil. Enjoy your delicious Tollhouse Pie!
