Free Monthly Savings Challenge Printables (12 Months of Trackers)
You don’t have to wait until January to start saving money. Whether it’s March, July or November, you can start with the month you’re in right now!
These free monthly savings challenge printables give you a themed tracker for every month of the year. Use them to save $5 a day, or set your own amount with the blank trackers. You can start this 12 month savings challenge at any point in the year—no catching up required.
I like seeing my savings grow – even if it is only a small bit at a time. Let’s be honest…sometimes $5 is all we have to tuck aside into savings at the moment. So, we do what we can. Coloring in a shape each day is a visual reminder that even $5 adds up.
Remember, saving something is always better than saving nothing!

What’s included in the monthly savings challenge download?
The free PDF includes 24 pages—two trackers for each month:
- A $5 daily savings challenge: Set aside $5 and color in one shape for each day of the month. Complete all 12 monthly trackers in a 365-day year, and you’ll save $1,825.
- A blank savings tracker: Fill in your own amount to create a challenge that fits your budget or a particular savings goal.
Every month has its own seasonal design, from hearts in February to Christmas trees in December. The pages are black and white, so you can have fun coloring in each shape as you save. The non-editable PDF is ready to print and use.

How do you start a monthly savings challenge?
Print the tracker for the current month and decide what your savings goal is for the month. Each time you set aside the day’s amount, color in a shape. When a new month begins, print its tracker and keep going.
You can follow the $5 challenge all year, use the blank pages to choose a different amount, or switch between the two as your budget allows. Want to save $10 a day instead? Print two of the $5 pages for each month, and you could save $3,650 over 365 days.
Since each month varies with expenses, I wanted to create a savings challenge that has flexibility. You can alternate between the $5 challenge or set a larger amount of $10 or $20 a day. You can even vary the amounts with $1, $5, $10 and $20 saved in rotation.
Don’t get hung up on the amount because the important thing is to start saving something!

Use your savings for Christmas, a vacation, an emergency fund or another goal that matters to your family. You don’t have to have a perfect month to make progress. Just start with the month you’re in and save what you can.
All 24 pages (2 for each month) are included in one download, and you can print them again whenever you’re ready for a new challenge.
