Easy 5 Ingredient Desserts

Last fall, I shared a collection of 70 easy 5 ingredient recipes that were perfect for busy school nights. All the recipes had 5 ingredients (or less) and were chicken meals, beef meals, slow cooker meals, pork meals and all sorts of other easy meals. It has become a good resource for me, as a busy mom, and for many others. I wanted to share something similar this year, so decided to compile a list of easy 5 ingredient desserts.

We all know that good food doesn’t have to be complicated and this list proves it. You see, I love to cook and bake for my family but I don’t want to spend lots of time in the kitchen. I also love to prepare a special dessert on occasion because baking is one way I show them some extra love around the dinner table. I actually realized that some of my favorite dessert recipes are 5 ingredient recipes like chocolate chip shortbread and our homemade buckeyes.

There are a wide variety of 5 ingredient desserts included in this list. Once I started searching, I knew this was another list I needed to share! There are 5 ingredient bar recipes, 5 ingredient cookies, 5 ingredient pies, 5 ingredient cakes and even some 5 ingredient candies and ice cream recipes! I have already tried several from this list (fudgy nutella cookies were the first ones I tried – yum!) and have printed quite a few others to try, too. I hope you discover some new favorite 5 ingredient recipes on this list.

Here are over 85 easy 5 ingredient dessert recipes for your family to enjoy, all sorted by dessert category for your convenience.
