Free Printable Donut Christian Valentines for Kids

These free printable Christian valentines for kids are a sweet way to share an important reminder this Valentine’s Day. With colorful donuts and messages about God’s love, these cards are easy to print and share with friends!

I love a cute Valentine pun. But even more than that, I love finding simple ways to remind our children that Jesus loves them.

That is why I created these Christian donut valentines. They give kids something fun to hand out while sharing a message worth remembering long after the Valentine candy is gone.

Use them for a Christian school Valentine exchange, Sunday school class or homeschool party. You can also give one to your own children!

What Is Included in This Free Christian Valentines Set?

This printable set includes:

  • 16 different Christian valentines with colorful donut illustrations.
  • 8 valentines with “Jesus loves you” messages.
  • 8 valentines with “God loves you” messages.
  • 4 printable pages, with 4 cards on each page.
  • Cards measuring 3 inches by 4.5 inches.
  • Spaces labeled “To” and “Love” for children to fill in by hand.

The designs include pink frosting, chocolate donuts, sprinkles and heart-shaped donuts. Let your child pick a favorite or print a mix to share!

Some cards say, “Donut forget that Jesus loves you!” Others add, “and so do I!” There are also versions with the same reminders about God’s love.

These cards share simple Christian messages rather than direct Bible verse quotations. The shorter messages are easy to read aloud with younger children, while older children can fill out their own cards.

How to Print Your Christian Valentines

You don’t need anything fancy to get these valentines ready. A printer, paper and scissors will do!

  1. Download and save the PDF to your computer. If it doesn’t open in your browser, try opening the saved file in a PDF reader.
  2. Choose the pages you want to print. You can print the whole set or make extra copies of your child’s favorite page.
  3. Print on white paper or cardstock. Cardstock makes a sturdier Valentine, but use what you have.
  4. Select actual size or 100% scale to keep the cards at their original dimensions. Print single-sided.
  5. Cut around the outside of each colored border.
  6. Have your child fill in the names. Then they are ready to share!

The donuts are designed in color, but you can print them in grayscale to save on color ink. Try one page first to make sure you like how it looks before printing the rest.

Easy Ways to Share Your Donut Valentines

These cards are a complete Valentine on their own. You don’t have to add a treat or spend more money to make them special!

If you do want to include something extra, here are a few easy ideas:

  • Attach a card to a small bag with a mini donut.
  • Attach a card to a small bag of donut holes.
  • Set one beside a donut at a Valentine breakfast.
  • Pair a card with a pencil or stickers for a non-food option.
  • Tuck one into your child’s lunch box for a Valentine surprise.

It is good to check your school or church’s food guidelines before sending treats for a group.

For younger children, read the message together before they give the cards away. It is a simple opportunity to talk about how we can share God’s love through our words and actions.

And if signing a whole stack feels overwhelming? Work on a few cards at a time. Former preschool teacher tip here! There is no need to get them all done in one sitting.
