What Is Included in These Free Unicorn Valentines?

This printable set includes unicorns holding hearts, delivering a Valentine envelope, carrying balloons and floating on a cloud. Each design has a pink border and a cheerful unicorn with a colorful mane.

Your free download includes:

  • 8 different unicorn Valentine designs.
  • Both “To/From” and “To/Love” versions of every design.
  • 4 printable pages, with 4 cards per page.
  • Cards measuring 3 inches by 4.5 inches.
  • Spaces for children to write names by hand.

There are eight unique designs, each included twice so you can choose the signature option you prefer.

The “From” versions are handy for classroom exchanges. The “Love” versions give your child another choice for family members and special friends.

Cute Unicorn Valentine Sayings

A little unicorn wordplay makes these cards even more fun! The eight messages included are:

  • “Valentine, you are uni-que!”
  • “I hope you have a magical Valentine’s Day!”
  • “You are a magical friend, Valentine!”
  • “You are one of a kind!”
  • “I am on cloud 9 when I am with you!”
  • “I am over the rainbow for you!”
  • “Friends like you are legendary!”
  • “You sparkle and shine, Valentine!”

Let your child look through the designs and choose a favorite. I think the unicorn delivering a little heart envelope is especially sweet for a classroom exchange!

These cards work for a school Valentine exchange, a preschool party or a homeschool gathering. Your child can also give them to neighbors, cousins or grandparents.

How to Print Your Unicorn Valentine Cards

You don’t need special craft supplies to make these valentines. Gather:

  • The free printable PDF linked below.
  • White cardstock or regular printer paper.
  • A printer.
  • Scissors.
  • A pen or pencil.

Download the PDF and save it to your computer. Then choose the pages you want to print. You can use either the “From” or “Love” versions, or print some of each.

Select actual size or 100% scale in your printer settings to keep the cards at their original dimensions. Print single-sided so the backs stay blank.

White cardstock will make the cards sturdier, but regular paper works too. Use what you have!

Cut the cards apart around the outside of the pink borders. Have your child fill in the names, and they are ready for Valentine’s Day.

If your teacher has requested that children only sign their own names, leave the “To” spaces blank. Following the classroom directions makes handing out valentines easier for everyone!

Getting a Classroom Set Ready

Before printing, check how many valentines your child needs. There are four cards on each page, so a class set of 24 cards takes six printed pages.

You can print a mix of designs or repeat the page with your child’s favorites.

For younger children, I recommend cutting the cards apart before they start signing. Then spread the writing out over a few days if needed. Signing four or five valentines at a time can feel much more manageable than tackling the whole stack!

Easy Unicorn Valentines Without Candy

These unicorn cards are a complete Valentine on their own. Print, sign and share. You don’t have to buy a treat or assemble a craft for every classmate.

If your child wants to include a little something extra, try pairing a card with:

  • A pencil.
  • Unicorn or rainbow stickers.
  • A small eraser.
  • A mini notebook.
  • A wrapped treat, if classroom guidelines allow it.

You can keep this simple! A card with a kind message is already a lovely way to celebrate a friend.
