Free Printable Christian Lunch Box Notes for Kids

These free printable Christian lunch box notes for kids are an easy way to remind your child that you are thinking of them—and share encouragement from Scripture! Simply print, cut and tuck a note into their lunch.

As a mom of four, I know school mornings can be busy. Between getting everyone ready and packing lunches, there isn’t always time for one more thing.

That is why I like having lunch box notes printed and ready to go. It only takes a moment to add one, but it is a sweet way to send a little love along with lunch.

I created these Christian lunch box notes to use with my own children, and now I’m sharing them with you for free!

What Is Included in This Free Lunch Box Notes Set?

This free printable PDF includes:

  • 24 different Bible verse lunch box notes with cute animal designs and colorful borders.
  • 8 blank notes for your own handwritten messages.
  • 4 letter sized pages, with 8 notes on each page – for easy printing and cutting apart.

Each note measures 2 by 3.5 inches, about the size of a business card. The designs work for boys and girls alike, with bears, rabbits, cats, penguins and other cute animals.

The Bible verses share reminders about trusting God, showing kindness, giving thanks and knowing that God is with us. Each card includes a Scripture reference so you can look up the verse together, too.

Whether your child is having a wonderful day or a difficult one, I hope these little notes will remind them of God’s love and care.

How to Use Your Printable Lunch Box Notes

Simply download the PDF, print and cut the notes apart.

Regular printer paper works just fine, or you can use white cardstock for sturdier notes. Print at actual size or 100% to keep the original dimensions.

While these are designed to print in color, you can certainly print them in black and white. Remember, it’s the thought that counts!

I recommend cutting a batch ahead of time and keeping them near your lunch supplies. Then you can grab a note while you are packing lunch. Add a quick “Love, Mom” or “Love, Dad” on the back if you like!

You don’t have to include a note every day. An occasional surprise is a sweet way to let your child know you are thinking of them, too!

Add Your Own Handwritten Notes

The bonus page of eight blank notes gives you room to write a message just for your child.

Keep it simple! “I’m praying for you today,” “Have fun on your field trip,” or “I can’t wait to hear about your day” are all easy ideas.

You can also write a favorite Bible verse or mention something you are looking forward to doing together after school.

The PDF is not editable. Just print the blank notes and write your messages by hand.

And these notes aren’t only for lunch boxes! Tuck one into a backpack, leave one on a pillow or use the Bible verse cards to practice a memory verse together. If you homeschool, place one beside your child’s lunch plate or with their schoolwork.
