Free Printable Snack Appreciation Tags
Sometimes a little snack is just the thing to brighten someone’s day. Add a thank you note, and you have an easy gift that lets them know their work hasn’t gone unnoticed.
These free printable snack appreciation tags make that part simple! Choose a design, pair it with the matching snack, and you have a thoughtful thank you ready to give.
As a former teacher and a mom of four, I know there are plenty of people worth thanking throughout the year. Teachers, school secretaries, church volunteers, coworkers and helpful friends all do things that make our days a little easier.
You don’t have to wait for a holiday or put together an expensive gift to say thank you. Even a random Tuesday is a good time! A favorite snack and a few kind words can mean a lot—any time of year.
This set includes six designs for popcorn, bagels, donuts, cheese crackers, Chex Mix and trail mix.

What Is Included in These Snack Appreciation Tags?
Each design pairs a thank you message with a matching snack. There are sweet and salty options, so you can choose something the person receiving it will enjoy.
I specifically created these snack tags to go with snacks that are easy to find and serve, including individually packaged options. This makes it easy to buy a large box of snacks at Sam’s or your local grocery store and thank lots of people at once.
The six messages include:
- Just POPPING by to say thanks!
- Thanks for all you do ROUND here!
- We appreciate you a HOLE bunch!
- It might be CHEE-Z, but we think you are GREAT!
- Thanks for keeping our school in CHEX! We’d be MIXed up without you!
- Thank you for leading us on a TRAIL of success!
Five of the designs work for a variety of people and occasions. The Chex Mix design specifically mentions school, making it a fun choice for teachers, office staff and others who keep the school day running smoothly.
Use these snack thank you tags for individual gifts or display the matching design beside snacks you are sharing with a group.
Easy Snack Thank You Gift Ideas
You can put together these gifts with snacks from your regular grocery trip. Buy individual packages for convenience, or divide a larger bag into smaller treat bags.
Here are some ideas for each design.
Popcorn thank you tags: Attach the “Just POPPING by to say thanks” design to a bag of popcorn. You could use ready-to-eat popcorn, a microwave popcorn packet or homemade popcorn tucked into a treat bag. This is an easy option when you have several people to thank.
Bagel appreciation tags: Pair “Thanks for all you do ROUND here” with a bagel, or bring a package of bagels and cream cheese for a group breakfast. I love doing this one on a Tuesday with the Panera Baker’s Dozen deal, as a surprise for school staff at the start of a busy day.
Donut appreciation tags: Use “We appreciate you a HOLE bunch” with a donut or a bag of donut holes. You can also place the sign beside a shared box of donuts. No individual wrapping necessary!
Cheese cracker thank you tags: Add the “It might be CHEE-Z” design to a snack-size bag of cheese crackers. These are easy to prepare ahead of time and hand out whenever you want to offer a little encouragement.
Chex Mix appreciation tags: Pair the school-themed design with individual bags of Chex Mix or a bowl of homemade snack mix in the teachers’ lounge. It would be especially fitting for school secretaries, administrators and support staff.
Trail mix thank you tags: Attach “Thank you for leading us on a TRAIL of success” to a bag of trail mix. This message works well for a team leader, committee chair, coach or teacher.
You can keep things simple and use the same snack for everyone, or choose different designs based on their favorites.

Who Can You Give These Snack Gifts To?
These printable appreciation tags aren’t tied to a particular holiday, so you can use them whenever someone deserves a thank you.
Here are a few people you might want to remember:
- Teachers and classroom aides
- School secretaries and support staff
- Coworkers and employees
- Church volunteers and Sunday school teachers
- Coaches and group leaders
- Committee members
- Neighbors and friends who have helped you
Choose the message that fits the person. The popcorn, donut and cheese cracker designs are especially easy to use for an everyday thank you.
The trail mix message is a nice way to recognize someone’s leadership, while the Chex Mix design is made for your school staff.
Put Together a Simple Appreciation Snack Table
If you want to thank a whole group, these designs also make an easy starting point for an appreciation snack table. That is why I included a full-sized page as well as individual cards.
Set out a few snack choices and place the matching signs beside them. People can choose something they enjoy, and you don’t have to assemble a separate gift for everyone.
For a morning treat, you could offer bagels and donuts. For an afternoon snack table, try popcorn, crackers and trail mix.
This would work for a teacher appreciation week surprise, a volunteer thank you or a little encouragement for your coworkers.
You don’t need to offer all six snacks. Choose one or two that fit your budget and the size of your group. That is plenty!
